I am interested in switching my sd card with internal memory for more space for my apps.

What device?

It's going to be slower, doesn't matter how fast the SD card is. Also, it may not work. If the device is slated for Marshmallow, hold out until it comes, then you can use "adopted storage" to expand your capacity using the SD card.
