How do I sync with Google?

Updates to my google contacts on my Android don't sync with the contacts on my PC

Welcome to Android Central! Where on the PC are you looking? The contacts you enter into your Google Contacts on the phone will sync to the cloud, and you can see them at contacts.google.com. They won't sync directly to Outlook or other mail clients -- you'd need to use a 3rd party sync program.
