How do I transfer everything from my Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant to the HTC One?

Topic, I've just received my HTC One and really excited but I want to transfer everything.
What should I do?
Do I just just connect Vibrant to computer and copy everything over?

Transfer apps?
Transfer data?
Assuming both devices aren't rooted correct?
I would use a backup program, that doesn't require root. Back up all data (NOT SYSTEM DATA!!!!) and then copy that backup file to your new device.
Also, google will restore most information if you allow google to back up your info.

Use HTC's own transfer app, just search the Play store. You install the app on your old phone and follow the prompts, it then creates a WiFi link between your old phone and your One and transfers music, contacts, pictures, video, even your sms messages. Worked like a dream on my S2, quick, clean and simple.
