Re: how do i transfer files between galaxy note edge and Mac pro

There are multiple ways. You can directly plug it into one of your Mac's USB ports, you can transfer stuff to a memory card and plug that into your Mac, or you can even use a cloud service such as Dropbox or OneDrive (I use OneDrive to transfer stuff from my Note Edge to my Surface 3).

I use the free Android Storage Made Easy Cloud App. It comes with a built in FTP Server. I simply ensure my phone and macbook are on the same network and then switch on the dedicated FTP server that comes in-app and use Cyberduck on the Mac to connect. No wires, no cables, its easy.

Why don't you just use drive or box.com?

Hey... make it EZ on yourself: been using Samsung's own SideSync 3.0 for the last year and I have a MacBook Pro and a N3. Use the USB cable as it's faster transfer than Wi-Fi and you can see the home screens projected onto your Mac! Plus other treats as well. After Samsung's 8/13 event they have upgraded it to sidesync 4.0 check it out. Good luck
