How do I transfer gallery pictures to iMac?

Transfer gallery pictures to iMac

Newbie here …
I'm trying to transfer the pictures I've made to my iMac.
What do I need to install so my computer can see the pictures?
and download them?

When you plug your phone into your Mac, does it show as an external drive or Media Player? It should, in theory...

Or you could send them via Bluetooth if available or using a WiFi transfer service like PushBullet. Or the easiest route: Use Cloud services, like Dropbox or Google Drive.

If your photos are backed up to Google Drive, you can simply install Drive on your mac and drag and drop.

Android file manager is best way to transfer any files to a Mac. Download it from Google install on your Mac. If it's just pictures though, you can switch to picture transfer mode when you connect to the USB. Then the picture import opens on your Mac

You can always get a micro sd and an sd card adapter and do it that way
