how do i transfer my contacts, photos ect from Samsung S4 to Huawei P8 lite

I tried using smart switch, but it will only allow android to galaxy transfer. I need to transfer from my old Samsung s4 to my Huawei P8 lite.

Please help

Hi, if you go into settings / accounts / Google - make sure all the options are fully synced and up to date. That way when you power up the new phone it will ask you if you want to recover from a previously synced android device, which you will say yes. This will download all the apps, contacts etc that you had on the s4.

Only things it won't sync over are media i.e. pictures / videos. For this you can either use a cloud storage, like Google Photos or drag and drop the data onto a pc then put it onto the new phone.

Another thing it won't sync will be your messages, but there are apps in the play store for backing up sms messages.
