What "data" do you want copied? Contacts, email, calendar (if the Google app and not the Samsung Planner) SHOULD come over as they should be synced to your Google account. Some other stuff, if both devices have NFC, should be able to transfer using Beam, it's on the share menu.
Sadly, app data such as game saves or progress, are not as easy. There's an app on the Play Store called Helium that claims to be able to copy this info, I have not used it myself.
If both devices are on Marshmallow AND the app developer updated the app to take advantage of the API, app data can be backed up to and restored from Google Drive using a setting that's actually kind of buried in the settings menu of the app. Unfortunately, it ONLY works on Marshmallow.
