How do I transfer my photos off my phone to my desktop computer?

Currently my storage is full. I don't have an SD card installed. My phone saves all my photos on my GMail account. I want to upload them to Windows Live Photo Gallery on my computer but it says there are no photos on my phone.

They're in Google Photos. Have you looked? (You can download them from there if you really want to.)
