How do I transfer photos from google plus to my gallery?

I opened my phone last night and all my photos were gone. I back up my photos to google plus but don't know how to get them back. I have over 2000 pictures, does anyone know how to transfer them back?

Settings/General/Accounts. Go to your Google (not Gmail) account and turn picture sync on. If it's on, turn it off, then turn it on, to force it to sync.

Gallery looks in a list that Media Scan builds to determine what pictures are on the phone and where they are. You don't put pictures into Gallery, there's no "Gallery" folder.

Open the Photos app. You will see them there.

There have been rumors that there will be big changes in Google+, including separating out photos from streams. What I am hoping is that uploaded photos will be exposed on Google Drive - if that happens, it will pretty easy to sync photos back down to your phone. There is a great Google Drive sync app called Drive Autosync that could do this really well.

As I said, though, for now you can *SEE* the photos in Google+ in the Photos app on the phone, along with locally stored photos.

You have to transfer from Google to a folder on your computer. Then hook phone to computer and drag folder into pics folder on phone
