How do I transfer photos from Samsung J5 to my PC via a USB connection?

I recently bought a Samsung J5 and have taken photos. I now want to transfer the photos to my PC to free up space on my J5 but don`t know how to. I have not got a disc or imported a USB Driver as yet.

Welcome to the forums. It all should be a plug and play. Just plug the phone in, and give it a few minutes. You should be able to explore the contents of the phone, and drag and drop.

Thanks for the reply but have tried connecting J5 to my PC and nothing happens...no dialogue box appears on screen. Message says I do not have USB driver!!

Most of the time it works as plug and play,may be your PC have some issue.Download J5 USB driver manually and give a try.Here is the link

I still cannot get this J5 to connect to PC via USB.
Have tried installing driver, selecting developer options, MTP, every other step I can find.

Enable the USB Debugging on your J5. Here is a video can help to set the USB Debugging. The setting is almost the same after Android 4.0.
