Once the micro sd card is in the tablet I don't know what steps on the tablet are need to transfer files from the micro sd card to the tablet memory for viewing. No instructions in the on-line instruction book. This is the (fairly) new 8 inch samsung tablet. Is it the same as the tab 3? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Android Central! You shouldn't have to move the pics to the tablet's internal storage--the system's Media Scanner should find those pics and add them to the Gallery app's database. Is that not happening?
