how to i transfer pictures from phone to sd card

I have alcatel onetouch cell phone.. Ive been trying to transfer my photos from the phone file to sd card..I don't know how to do that without losing the pictures.. Please tell me step by step how I can do that.. Thanks you

Use whatever file manager came with the phone. Find the pictures on the phone (or just copy the entire DCIM [Digital Camera IMages - it's an industry standard place to put camera pictures and video - not sacred, but it's what everyone uses] folder). Copy. Now find the SD card. Paste. Now you have the pictures in both places. (If you're only copying a few pictures, not the whole folder, create a folder for them on the SD card, to make it easier to find them.)

My phone is Alcatel Tru and I tried to put a sd2 thing and it said SD damaged
