How do I turn data off and only use wifi on my Cubotnote 7?

I recently bought my first smartphone - a Cubotnote 7. It seems to use data even when I'm not using it. Is there a way to switch data off and only use wifi?

Welcome to Android Central! Turn on Airplane Mode, then turn on wi-fi after that. That should completely turn off your cell radio (although this means you'll be able to make phone calls if wi-fi calling is on).
