How do I turn off Auto-Rotation on my Android Wear 2.0 watch??

I have a new LG Watch Sport and am loving it...except...the face always wants to be facing level...whatever level happens to be at any given time...so if my arm is by my side...say like walking, then I lift it to read the time...it takes about a split second to adjust to the new 'level' so that I can read it. by the time it's actually spun around, I've already read the time upside down...Is there a way to keep it in normal watch orientation? Like on our phones, turn off Auto-Rotation?

There is no auto rotation in AW 2.0 except when the watch is docked for charging.
I had the screen rotating like you described once with my Sport: with a restart it went away.
So, I suggest you restart your watch and if that doesn't work, maybe a reset is needed.

So you're telling me your watch doesn't rotate to 3 of the 4 cardinal points? The only direction my LG Watch Sport doesn't rotate to is if I were to wear it on my right writst. ie: with the buckle strap facing down to the ground. All 3 other points - 1.Long strap down, 2.Crown Down or 3.Crown up will cause the watch face to auto-level. A restart did not produce the result you describe and I am not willing yet to reset my watch because I don't see how going to factory default would resolve this if I've had the problem since it arrive with factory settings.

I have a LG Watch Sport and a Huawei Watch on AW 2.0. The rotation you described only happened once with my Sport and a restart fixed it. My Sport only rotates when placed in it's dock(except that one time), the Huawei doesn't rotate at all (it doesn't have a dock).
As far as I know the rotation is only for when the Sport is in it's "bedside mode" & acts as a clock (my Moto 360 also does the same on AW 1.5). I assume that is the normal function (you know what assuming does). But I have seven Android Wear watches and I am basing my observations on that. Also, as far as I know, there is no way to turn off the rotation (if that is the normal function).
Sorry I wasn't able to help. Maybe you should contact LG or Google (their online forums are a good place). Your watch may be defective or I am wrong.

Same issue and it's more annoying than I suspect that would have thought had someone described it to me. The issue didn't appear until I switched phone, which required a factory reset (which is inconvenient as well). Looking at another long evening of reset and reload is not my idea of a good time but it looks like bad lazy or poor code makes that the next unavoidable step.

LG Sport and Pixel.

Thanks. A simple restart resolved the issue for me on LG Watch Sport with Android Wear 2.0 and Android OS 8.0.0 (Oreo beta program).

I also have to restart my watch when it rotates. I have no idea why the auto rotation is enabled without a way of turning it off. The only way to reset the rotation is to restart the watch.
