How do I turn off Global and go to CDMA only to conserver battery?

U can also remove the SIM card and leave it out.

I've heard some people say you can remove the SIM card and flip it over that way you won't lose it. Never tried it but does that sounds do-able?

I forgot to ask..."Does this really help with battery conservation?" I will get better battery life by setting it on CDMA only?
