Turn Off SMS Text Sync in Exchange E-Mail Account, Galaxy S6, T-Mobile

Text messages are appearing in my MS Exchange e-mail. I've read the other questions and agree, there is no Sync Text menu option to select/deselect. It's just not there. Just bought the phone today and stupidly clicked yes on this option when setting up my Exchange Server e-mail.

Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

You can look at turning it off on a per account basis. Under the option to sync items such as calendar, contacts, notes etc. There is typically a sync messages. This one controls the synchronization of your text messages. I hope this helps.

If you don't see the option outlined by aaron619, then the only other thing I would suggest is to remove the Exchange account and start over, ensuring that you don't select that option when setting it up again.
