Android Central Question

Android has a really annoying habit of visually indicating where you've pressed while on the lock screen, which tends to defeat the purpose of the passcode. They appear as white bubbles which expand under where the user presses their finger to the screen.

Is there a way to disable this?

Hardware: Pixel 3
Software: Android Pie

What is the problem with this? If anyone is to look at you while you enter your passcode, regardless of this behavior they just see what numbers you are pressing?

i actually don't noticed that since i use the fingerprint sensor to unlock my phone. but yeah, if they can see the bubble, they can see the number. don't think you can turn it off.
