How do I turn on contact recognition on my LG 3?

LG 3. turn on contact recognition on phone

Love my LG 3. Just bought a LG G Watch for Christmas. in trying to get it to work it says I need to turn on contact recognition on my phone. can anybody help me. and any insight or advice on android wear would be appreciated.

To enable contact recognition on your handset to support the G Watch text facility please follow the steps below:

On your handset go to: Apps (main menu) -> Google Settings -> Search & Now ->

Accounts & Privacy -> Contact Recognition (tick the check box to enable contact recognition).

You will now be able to send texts from your G Watch

I try to locate contact recognition in google under accounts & privacy but can't find, only: google account, commute sharing, google location settings, web history, manage web history, manage app history, search on google.com, safesearch filter, search engine storage and legal only... Where is contact recognition???
Please help!

Pull down notification tray. Select the settings Gear icon in the very top right.
accounts &sync - select google - search - Accounts & privacy - scroll down - contact recogntion

Wait so you can't use contacts for android wear as well? It seems like they moved it somewhere on 5.0.2
