How do I turn on HDMI on my Tesco Hudle 2

How do I turn on the HDMI setting, on my Tesco hudle 2 it's reading disconnected at the moment, on the settings page and it won't allow me to change anything, I am using the correct cable but nothing on any TV I try, help !!!

Welcome to Android Central! Did it ever work on that TV? Older TVs might not be compatible, even if they have an HDMI input. Try it on a different TV or monitor. It's also possible the cable is defective--try a different cable if possible.
