how do i turn on the master sync on my samsung galaxy express 3 ?

All of a sudden my e-mail will not sync. Message on phone said "master sync" has been turned off ! By whom?

Welcome to Android Central! Swipe down the notification panel and look at the Quick Settings toggles. Is there a Sync toggle there? If not, then try going to Settings>Accounts, and see if there is a master sync toggle there.
