how do I turn on waving my hand on the lock screen feature on S5

I used to be able to wave my hand over the black screen and I would see if I had any notifications, not now. Several posts have said to check the air wake up box, but air wake up is not an option.

Welcome to Android Central! Do any Air Gestures work? I've seen posts discussing how Air Gestures appeared to be removed after the Lollipop update. Did this only start for you after the update?

If by air gestures, I can hold my finger over an unopened email and preview; but can wave my hand over my sleeping phone and get notifications.

It appears that Samsung changed some of their settings up and also changed the air gestures.

Go into you settings app and search for "air wake up" and under accessibility this should pop up. Haven't used it myself but it appears to be whats left of the old setting you were talking about.

It's directly at: settings> accessibility> dexterity

Yeah I wanted to know this too. Air wake up just unlocks my phone. I think they did away with this in the latest update. Which is total crap because I loved that featurem
