How Do I Turn This Notification Off?

I've spent the last hour fruitlessly searching my phones settings to get rid of this annoying notification without success. I don't need to see this "emergency" alert that it's lightly raining every time I open my phone. T Mobiles settings are different from suggestions I've found online. Anybody?

For Tmobile From any home screen, tap Messaging.
Tap the Menu icon.
Tap Settings.
Under 'GENERAL', tap General settings.
Scroll to 'OTHER', then tap Emergency alerts.
Select or clear check boxes

That's the thing...I did uncheck those boxes and the alerts keep coming. Maybe a restart will help.....

It looks like you need to go into your Smart settings and uncheck Weather Alerts

They're all turned of. Anyway, I thing the restart did the trick...so far.

Nope...that wasn't it. Just by way of a follow up. I finally discovered the notifications were part of the Transparent Weather Clock app incessantly alerting me to the impending disaster of a light drizzle every five minutes. I was ready to throw the phone out the window.
