How do I use Facebook stickers in my text messaging program?

I want to use my default text message program on my Samsung Galaxy S8 but want to be able to insert the images from the Facebook stickers into any text message that I send to people. I can do it if I use Facebook messenger as my default text program but I can't use custom notification tones for different contacts I have on my phone. I want to be able to use the Facebook sticker images in my default text message program. Is there any way that I can do that?

I don't think there would be a way to transfer images from one app to another. Copyright laws may also apply to that.

I was wondering about that because I have a good friend that likes to send me Facebook images and I know he uses FB messenger for text messaging. I want to play along but don't want to give up using my text message app in order to do so because with my app, I can customize the notification sounds for each contact. I haven't found any way to do this using FB messenger as my default text messaging app yet. If anyone knows a way to do that, please let me know.

I don't think there is a way to that outside of the Facebook app.

Ok. That's what I was afraid of. Plan B it is then. I don't know what it is right now but I'll figure something out.

No, Facebook stickers do not appear even when using messenger as your default text app. Other phones do not magically get the Facebook images to appear when they don't have facebook.

I have Facebook and Facebook Messenger as does my friend. He uses Facebook Messenger as his default SMS app and is able to send me some great stickers and they come through on my SMS app (default text messaging app). I just want to be able to send those images through my SMS app and not just through Facebook Messenger. I can't find a way to customize notifications for each contact in my phone.

Yea... somethings not jiving. plain old messenger apps don't start throwing up pictures it knows nothing about. Stickers are client side supported, Your friend probably does not realize his default sms client is messenger.

Oh, I think he knows but that's the only one that he can get the SMS to work properly on his phone. When he used the app that came with his phone, he couldn't reply to any of my text messages. Figured that this way, at least he could reply to my text messages. I just didn't count on being addicted to using those stickers in text messages with him. The stickers come through just fine on my phone but I just can't send any of the stickers through my SMS app on my S8 to him. I have to go in to FB messenger and set it to the default SMS to be able to send the stickers. The only thing that I really can't stand about using FB messenger as my default SMS app is that I cannot customize the notifications for each person in that app like I could with my other one.
