how do I use wifi to copy files from PC to SD card inside the S7 edge?

Use a file manager like X-plore or ES File explorer. These can be set up to access your wifi network so you can copy and paste from the PC to your phone

Thanks! Unfortunately, both of them don't let me copy from PC to the SD card inside the phone. :(
They do allow me to copy from the SD card inside the phone to the PC just fine.

Copying from PC to the phone's own memory works perfectly fine, however.

Copy to your phone's memory and then use the samsung 'my files' app to copy from there to the sd card.

Use wifi file transfer https://forums.androidcentral.com/...arterdroid.wififiletransfer%2F&token=38IceR1L
It creates a webserver on your phone for you to connect to ti upload and download files.

It

Thanks! Like the other apps that I've tried. It works fine for wiring from
PC to phone's internal memory. However, it won't let me copy from
PC to the MicroSD card inside the phone. Keeps giving me this message:

"Sorry, this directory is not writeable"

What am I doing wrong? :(

Thanks for your help!

AirDroid is one of the best apps for this purpose.

Go to the App Manager, select whichever wi-fi file manager app you're using, and make sure it has full permissions for storage/SD card access.

You are not doing anything wrong. Those programs do not have write access to the sd card.

I use Solid Explorer myself. You will have to follow the instructions provided by the author of the app to enable writing to the SD Card.

I found an app called "Portal Wi-Fi Transfers in the Play Store. It worked beautifully. Copying from PC to SD card was extremely easy, even a 100-year-old woman can do it.... but I'm very concerned about the security of my data when using this app. Can anyone tell me if I'm being paranoid? Thanks!
