How to view two files side by side in Multi-window mode
Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro SM-T520 running Android 4.4.2 with the latest updates installed, and which has the multi-window viewing mode enabled. In general, it works very well, and I can display two separate applications side by side. I would like to use my tab for displaying jazz scores during my gigs. My scores are saved on the tablet as JPG or PNG files, and I can only display one at at a time, which makes it impossible to display multi-page scores.
I have tried this by opening the "My Files" file manager. It seems that "OI File Manager" and "ES File Explorer" are not supported in multi-window mode. When I select an image file, it splits the screen into two halves and displays the image in the right-hand display. When I select a second image file, it is also displayed on the right-hand display, hiding the first image. What is strange is that if I select a text file for the second file, it is displayed on the left-hand display.
Is there a workaround for this? Many thanks,
Paul
