Android Central Question

I have been using my pixel 6 and I've noticed sometimes when I'm looking at my browser and I try to swipe from the bottom middle in an upward direction (my thumb is usually near the bottom of the screen when this happens), a black screen shows up and says "tap the mic, then speak into your phone for quick answers" and it has a "listen for song" option. I've tried to replicate this but can't figure out what I'm doing. Also, I do not have the setting on which allows you to swipe from a bottom corner at 45 degrees to access Google assistant. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hold down on the home button and the Google assistant will pop up. Hit the small keyboard icon to the right and type in what you need ;)

I double-tap the back of my phone to access Google Assistant.

Settings - > system - > gestures - > quick tap to start actions - > enable "use quick tap" and select "access your digital assistant"
