Try opening Contacts, selecting a person, and looking for the Ringtone line. There should be an arrow at the right side of this line that you can tap in order to select a ringtone for that specific contact. I hope this helps.

Are you trying to set just a ringtone, or do you want to use your music as a ring tone?
