How do you change SMS message center numbers?

I'm having trouble sending text messages but can receive them okay. I think I need to check the message center number stored on the phone but don't know how to - can anyone help me?

I had trouble sending SMS messages too. Are your contact numbers stored in the form (123) 456-7890 ? If so, try 123-456-7890 (that is remove the parentheses around the area code) and see if that helps (it worked for me)...
