How do you delete a bookmark?

I've been trying for some time now and can't do it, help!

Tap and hold and then tap delete Bookmark

Or, from within the browser:

Menu > Bookmarks > Menu > Delete

Tap the X next to the bookmarks you want to remove, then tap Done.

Tap and hold, where? on the bookmark? if I do that it highlights the entire widget for removal.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was trying to quickly type on my EVO. Also, I didn't realize you were in the Widget. Anywho, thanks roothog for helping out.
