Hi there,

I've looked and looked and I don't see a way to do this. If I hit my keyboard ENTER key to put a blank line (like you normally see between paragraphs) in things like txt or email msgs I can't find a way to remove those blank lines when I don't want them there.

If you do this on your PC in WORD or something like that and you place your cursor at the end of a line and hit the DELETE key you can remove the spacing, but it doesn't work on my phone. I wind up deleting whatever is preceding rather than the gaping hole between what I want to say and what's below the gaping hole. I hope I'm making sense.

I'm thinking this is an Android thing that I just haven't learned how to do yet.

Is there a way or am I stuck with big gaping holes if I hit the ENTER key by mistake for in making corrections for example?

Try using arrow keys down to get to the end of your extra lines and then use backspace key. I know I have been in a hurry before while typing and have hit the "enter" key on accident and this works for me.

Since the android keyboard has a backspace key and NOT a Delete key it's a little hard. The only real way of remove the carriage return and line feed is to touch the screen at the beginning of the next paragraph and touching the backspace key.

Well, a little inconvenience is better than gaping holes, thanks very much to both of you.
