How do you dial straight to voicemail?

I used to be able to dial +11 and then the 10-digit phone number, but ever since I got my Hero, it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Do you mean when you call someone else or your own voicemail?

The Hero has visual voicemail so there's no need to call in. If you really need to call in just long press 1

Yeah, that's what I was originally gonna say, but wasn't sure if he mean't go into his OWN voicemail or if he wanted to go straight to voicemail when calling a certain number..
