Hi all,
I might be using the term wrong, but I'm looking to do what I thought was called a soft reset on the Note 8. (When I try searching for instructions, it just basically tells me how to do a restart with the power button.) And I'm definitely not looking to do a factory reset.
What I am looking to do is a process that I could do on my older Motorolas, where you pushed a combination of buttons (I think it was the volume up button and the power button simultaneously), you would see the Android man lying on his back, then there would be several lines of options that you could scroll through, one of which was wipe cache partition.
Maybe I'm not timing the button pushes correctly, but I can't seem to get it now. Can you do it on the Note 8 running Android Pie?
Thanks for any tips.
