How do you do the screen capture motion w/o touching

Every time I do it, or most of the time, it causes whatever is on the screen to scroll left or right like I'm switching home screens (as an example), which then causes the captured picture to be off. Lol Is there an easier way to screen capture using the hand motion?

It's a timing thing. Try it at the same time then try holding it. If the swipe works the buttons should.

weirdest phone ever. i have tried hold, and pressing buttons in different sequence, together at the same time. nothing would work, but now its working.

The physical home button plus power button will give you a screenshot

Never even knew that. Funny because with the motion screen capture it makes the capture sound but with the power button and home button it doesn't. Go figure

You may not have been holding them long enough.
Once I upgraded to ICS, it took reading forum post for me to realize that's the mistake I was making.

When I used to have the old version of android, works normally with home button holding for 2 secs, but now I've got updated the android software to 4.0.4 and doesn't works any more on that way. I don't know how to do it again???
