how do you easily enter pass codes on conf calls?

Hi all, it used to be easy to add commas (pauses) and make you conference call one nice long number with the passcode included. That no longer seems to work. Trying to fumble between your dialer and calendar is a gigantic PITA. Any ideas or tips you can share would be appreciated. Thank you!
