How do you get text on the LG watch Urbane

I have a Droid turbo 2 and just got a LG Watch-Urbane and I can not get text messages on it.

Do you mean you dont recieve texts or you cannot text via the urbane?Try using googles text app on your phone as default SMS and then try.
