How do you guys buy your phones?

I second this. Also some people do sell phones that were never opened, got my most recent phone from someone there who never opened the phone.

I can back up what has been said as to why people sell. There are a number of reasons and I have not had a bad experience buying and I've bought and sold a lot. I just bought the S7E brand new and about $250 less than retail on Swappa.com.

I do it the old fashioned way and buy on service contract. Bought at release and paid $100 ar plus free vr.

Except for the early days of the iPhone when you had to do two year contracts, I have bought every phone since then outright since I've been on T-Mobile. I hate having monthly payments. I still have every phone that I have bought since the Nexus 4, I don't sell them. I still use all of them except for that Nexus 4.

All my phones are purchased outright. Considering that I'm paying $20 per month for 3GB of data and voice for PAYG, I'm happy getting a bloat-free, unlocked phone.
