How do you hide a picture folder in Note 4?

It is on the device storage. I wish you could move it to the SD card but I haven't found a way.

That makes sense that it would be stored on internal memory as far as security goes.

Any ideas on how to retrieve the files that are on the device storage when the device will not power up?

The tech said that he found some corrosion on the charging port, but I'm calling B.S. That phone was immaculate and was never subjected to anything that would have caused that. It just started freezing up and rebooting (sometimes with kernel panic messages and other boot errors) until one day last week it just wouldn't restart.

This could be a bit late for the OP...the only way I have 'accessed' Private folder is when it is connected to a PC and you are logged into Private....it shows up as Private 'drive'....you cannot move files from it to the SD on the PC either...but you can move them to the PC...I am yet to put some on an SD and reinsert and see if they turn up on the Timeline. ..I think they will...security gone made.

BTW do not delete ANYTHING you want to keep off the Timeline. ..it (Timeline) even removes/deletes things from the SD card....security gone mad!!!
