How do you make Nexus 7 tablet screen rotate?

How do you make screen rotate for more then just videos? I want it to rotate for everything of needed lie when I type:-*

First, make sure auto rotate is turned on. Go to Settings --> Accessibility --> Auto-Rotate Screen.

Then get yourself a rotation app like this. This one is called Ultimate Rotation. It will allow you to rotate your home screen and app drawer. And you can lock in portrait/landscape too.

The other choice is a launcher replacement like Nova or Apex. These do a good job of mimicking the stock jelly bean launcher, but they also support auto rotate.

Pull down the notification bar. You'll see a lock icon with two curved arrows going around it at the top of the screen. Click that and it'll unlock rotation.
