How do you make one bluetooth device the default connection on s8+

I have paired my S8+ with my bluetooth headset and to my car. When I get in my car, it automatically connects to my phone even if my headset is connected so I end up with 2 connections. If I answer a call, it then comes in via the car. How can I make my headset the default bluetooth connection so that it doesn't automatically connect to the car?

I don't think there's a way to do that.

You might be able to set your car to only use the media profile (not calls). It under the gear seeing next to each device in BT settings.

Pull up the device settings from the drop down Samsung connect menu, and select the types of audio you want to come from that device. Set call audio to off for the car. It should stay set that way when you disconnect and reconnect.
