Use a file manager app (like Total Commander) to copy the files from Internal Storage to the microSD card. Or connect the phone to your computer via USB and use Windows Explorer to drag and drop the photos.

In file manager we get this option to move pictures, videos, music kinda stuff from internal storage to memory card.

These are the most sure fire ways.

I think the gallery app on some phones give you the option of picking either internal storage or the SD card when creating a new album. So moving into a new album via the gallery app may also be possible if needed. Though it'll place the album where it wants, limiting your ability to customize it.
