How do you organize your apps?

You know we have all of these pages we can add, folders we can create. I've been putting things on different pages for years.
But with the new way to access apps by flicking up on the home page, I'm finding I just do that to get to the app tray.
I like a clean home screen with just necessities, 3 or 4 icons.
How do you organize and access your apps?

I like a clear Home screen. I use Nova Launcher, and tabs.
Update: tabs are apps docs, games, read, social, and tv.
