Android Central Question

My ex got a hold of my phone. Find my mobile, and android device manager didn't work.

I would think holding power for 10 seconds to bypass the safe shutdown still works.

if so he mentions nothing about doing it remotely. I would think password/thumbprint would be enough to keep it locked and find my phone can even reset it if it is still on. No one WANTs to turn their phone off when its "lost".

From what OP says, he doesn't have possession of the phone. His ex has it and it sounds like he's trying to lock her out of it but can't get find my mobile or android device manager to work. Maybe I'm reading it wrong. Could OP clarify?
