How do you remove down arrows from mobile phone screen

Samsung Galaxy 4 mini phone. I tried to download an app. No download happened but I have multiple arrows at the top of the screen. How do I remove them please

Are you able to swipe down from the top of your screen to access your notifications? If you are, try tapping on one of the download notifications and see if it takes you to the installed app.

Swipe left or right to dismiss notifications from the notification pane - the notification pane is the bar at the top of your screen that displays date/time, battery status, wifi / mobile signal strength, etc - which is accessible by swiping downward from the top of your screen.

There may also be a clear button that will clear all notifications instead of you having to dismiss them individually.
