I have a Galaxy S5 and when I incorrectly enter an email address, the email app remembers the incorrect entry and it shows up as I am typing the correct address. Right under the correct address. I want to remove the incorrect address but every forum I found seems to indicate this is not possible without wiping the device. Absolutely crazy that Google hasn't added a hold and delete option to manage remembered / incorrect email addresses. Anyone have an idea where the incorrect addresses are stored and how to remove them without having to wipe the phone?
I have checked Gmail contacts, Exchange contacts etc, the incorrect address appears to only exist on the phone in some database.
