How do you stop pop-up email/text notification on car bluetooth screen?

I have a Galaxy S7. I have disabled every Notification that i can find for emails. The Google email does not pop-up does not show badges does not chime. I have done the same for my Other email accounts in the default email app however, i still get chimes and a pop-up screen on my cars audio screen, i still have badges as well though not pop-ups on the actual phone. I take long road trips and this may drive me crazy enough to switch back to my Apple devise if I can not get it resolved as i get a ton of emails.

I'd expect that to be an issue with the car's system connecting to the phone rather than any setting on the phone. The phone could send notifications to the system, but it can't dictate how the system would display it. Like when using Sidesync for a PC. I can control on the PC whether I get popups or not when the phone receives a notification.
