How do you turn off all Messenger notifications, except when people tag you?

I am part of a few Messenger group chats where people are just too active, so I hate getting notifications for those chats. However, sometimes people will tag me (by writing an @ infront of my name) and for those important tags during the chats, I would like to get a notification.

Is there any way to do this? So far, I've only managed to either turn on/off the entire chat notifications, but not specifically for when people tag you in a chat.
