How do you type an equal sign?

you have to switch to numbers and the then use the alt button. Equal sign will show up.

I am assuming you are using the stock keyboard right?

= key is kind of a PITA.

If so, in the lower right corner is a 12# button. Hit it. You will see a lot of the symbols and numbers.

Now on the left side is a 1/2 button. Press it and it will give you a second page and the equals sign is on it.

Try swiftkey. It is a much much better keyboard.

sorry thats with smart keyboard pro. For normal keyboard us the numbers key then hit the key with 1/2 that will give you more symbols
