How do you use DLNA

I've turned it on in settings. My PC can stream music from my phone, but anything going the other east doesn't work. It just says data connection failed. How do you do this? Classic Windows, something doesn't work as it should and you lose an hour trying to fix it

EDIT: My Xbox 360 and S4 work together just fine, so why can't M$ make Windows work just as well. Seriously sick of Windows at the moment

Have you changed the settings that allow your computer to share with other devices?

Its probably a setting in media player. Another way to do this would be right click on the forder you want to access from your phone and set it to share with everyone. Then using es file exlorer on you phone it should show up under lan

My Xbox can share with Windows fine. Occasionally it has problems doing that, but a reload or two fixes it
