Hi,
I use it for a few things, paying for stuff is a big one, saves messing about looking for change, Not everywhere here (Devon in the UK) accepts NFC payments, but quite a few places do and more are coming over to NFC each week. I also have several NFC tags around, one in the car to turn on Torque, One on the bedside table at my place to mute the phone while I sleep (same at the other half's place), one on the inside of my gym locker to set up all my fitness stuff on the phone, one on the box I keep my WiFi Pineapple in to set the phone up to manage that, and probably a few more that have slipped my my mind. I'm currently considering getting a NFC ring to unlock the pone and give out my contact details when needed, if that works well, I may even get a subdermal implant!
In short I think NFC is great, I really am staggered by the people who wont/don't like it ;^/
