May be a dumb question, but on one of the commercials I have seen for the GS III, a girl is on the roof of a building at a concert--she walks to the edge and plays a video on the side of the building across the street...

I'm not on top of buildings very often, but I would like to be able to broadcast a video to a wall or screen or something...what app or feature am I not finding to make this happen?

Unless it has a built in projector I highly doubt it's possible from the phone...

Well, that's what I was thinking...but she just walked right over to the edge of that roof and aimed her phone over there...wait, you don't think they misrepresented do you? Say it ain't so!

she probably streamed the file to a computer or something which in turn projected it to the wall from some sort of projector... its possible.

I believe she is sending the video to a jumbotron sized stadium monitor via wifi, not projecting the video to onto the bare side of a building. Otherwise she would be holding an Imax projector, not a cell phone......

They are talking about the ALL SHARE PLAY feature...

While that commercial does show it in kind of a silly/ unrealistic way... allshare play has been really cool for me to use. I have a samsung HD tv, and I can easily play videos, pictures, music whatever straight through it. I've got a couple seasons of the Office, and some movies on my sd card, and it's super easy to just play them all straight off the tv through my phone.

You can also use Wi Fi Direct settings to stream pics or vids from your SIII to a Wi Fi compatable TV on the same wi fi network. I do this with my Sony Bravia. Go to Settings -> Wireless and Network -> More Settings -> Wi Fi Direct to turn it on and search for devices. You may have to get a password from your TV to connect the Wi Fi Direct. Select a pic or vid from your Gallery, select Share and then chose Wi Fi Direct and it should show up on your TV.
